Ray Price & The Cherokee Cowboys are scheduled for a show at the Playhouse, here in Fredericton NB Canada on Thurs. June 12. I went on-line to try & find a "line-up of the band, but have had no luck. Can someone enlighten me as to whom is playing steel with Ray these days?
Thanks....J.J. |

I think Jim Loessberg still covers the Price dates. He is an awesome player. |

Caught the Price Show here in Yuma, Arizona last season and it really blew me away. He used a ten piece group using some locals from the Symphony. The Steel player did a great job.
We're planning a R.V. trip to the Maritimes when we get back to B.C. in Apr. and hopefully will be in the New Brunswick area on June 12th.

It's worth noting that SWSGA's own, Billy Easton substituted for Jim Loessberg last year with Ray Price, because Loessberg was overbooked. I wasn't lucky enough to catch the show, but I'm quite sure Mr. Price wasn't disappointed.

Thanks for the kind words, Rick....Jim is an absolutely awesome player as well as a good friend. While I was lucky enough to sub for Jim on a gig, please go and support the Ray Price show. He still sings great even as an octogenerian. And you will be amazed at Jim's playing.
