Yup. Listened to a store bought copy down at the river most of the day. Great album, and great Ricky Davis playing if I'm correct.. I got it and the Whiskey or God CD some time ago.
(The other one I spent time listening to was a great Brian Sklar CD.)
I'm still waiting for somebody to step up.
I can't, and might even be in trouble for poking around..........
It has to do with an alligator colored custom Sho~Bud...

I played on the first "Truckin' Sessions" by Dale Watson. I DID NOT play on "volume two" ...>that was Don Pawlak. _________________ Ricky Davis

Ricky I have the first one too.
GREAT.
I was told by a "surprised guy" in NVL that Dale is the "Real Deal", and what he's putting out is second to NONE. That's all I can say about it.... I've never heard anything but the BEST steel playing on ANY of his albums.
I said that he was a little late, and I've been on the bandwagon with Dale, Jamie J, HeyBale, and a few others from the beginning. Not to mention Bobby Flores, and heck, half of the regular plays on OutLaw Country Sirius, of course Miss Leslie, Kimberly M, and others.. including my personal blank me gal, Lucinda....
It's nice thinking that the REAL Music is in the process of really taking a major place in what REAL people listen to instead of what you have to endure the "major awards shows" on an AM radio, and watch on Rabbit Ears TV...
Will a new generation of Ray Prices, Lorrettas and Ernest Tubbs caravan the country in shiny busses once again?
I doubt it.
IMHO, it aint about that anyhow.
Its about what your average truck driver can tune into, and now that we've got XM/Sirius, I think that's a good thing.
More later as things develop.
Can't wait.
