I've recorded this on my computer, using Audacity, to try to get a better quality audio than I get with my camcorder
To get it onto youtube, I had to make a video of still photos

Thanks Guys
I can't take credit for the intro, I nicked it of a version of 'Born To Lose' that I heard on Myspace, with a girl singer.
I can't remember who the steel player (or the singer) was on that recording , but I do remember that he is a forum member, and his intro knocked me out
He also played a knockout solo in the song as well, with very widely spaced grips.
If anyone knows of this particular version, I'd like to listen to it again, and have a stab at the solo |

I've been asked to tab out this tune, so I've made a start and done the first verse (more to come as time allows), and posted it over in the 'Tablature' section |

This song was a big country hit by Ted Daffan in the early 40's. Ted also played some fills on his six string Steel. This song became a huge hit and really became a Standard when many years later it was recorded by Ray Charles.
You did a nice job on it ! |

I believe this is the Intro from Leighan Cortes version of Born to Lose from her CD, titled Strange, and it's Bobby Flores on steel guitar. If you take time to learn the intro, its a study in wide string grips..I had a blast learning it

Thanks Richard. That is just beautiful, and I've never heard it
played as good as you do it. You've got your own style, and
such a great sound. I always look for a new post from you.
Your on top for me, and if I could ever play good, I'd sure
love to play like you do. Every time I listen to you play,
I think "WOW" that's what a steel guitar should sound like.
Thanks so much for the material you sent me.
