Smiley has been pretty "low-key" about this, but I think it's time that everyone knew:

He showed me a prototype run last month at the Dallas show, and was really excited about being involved with this new product.

Check it out! Smiley's Endorsement

I just checked the ‘Black~Diamonds’ that I planted out in the garden several years ago and so far they are still similar in appearance to the consistency of the COAL in my fire~place¡ I’ll check them again in a few more years! How long does it take for Coal to turn to Diamonds anyway? ------------------

Black diamond used to make gold flat wound strings that were the perfect for National resophonic type guitars. (I don't know how the worked with a Dobro.)

Not that Resos have become so popular, I hope they start making those strings again.

Wow! A custom set of Black Diamond's.

Not everyone gets a BD Endorsement deal, it must be really exclusive.

They will make Smiley's Sho-Bud sound like $10.00...
