This has to be the strangest steel guitar ad I've seen on eBay yet. It does have " tone to the groins " though, which is a big selling point. Rolling Eyes

I put it here but it may belong in the humor section.

I guess I missed that thread Mark, this guy is new to me. I'd be all over this one except that he says it has " no goats " ...that's a deal breaker for me. What the...?? Confused

Well, I bought two guitars from this guy. I can say every weird thing you read on here is true. Everything. I could back it up if I wanted to detail it, but I don't. It was a huge hassle and headache, however, the moral of the story is I got much more then what I paid for, but less then what I thought I was getting. Mr. Green

That make sense? He wraps really poorly for shipping too and I don't think you can get him to do better, I tried. It worked out well for me, but I could see it going REALLY badly if you don't have tons of patience or understanding of what happens to a human being after a stroke or two or three, and have a bit of a gamblers side to you.

I'm curious what the steel detective means.....

I got an e-mail from someone who thought I was defending the seller and saying he had accurate descriptions. I wasn't. He doesn't. My guitars were not in the condition advertised in the auction, they were both in good shape, but not mint as the descriptions said. Dealing with him was par for the course for someone who has severe health issues, meaning, dealing with him was not on the normal plane of negotiations. Just search his email address on here to read more about him.

I did get a rickenbacker for 200$ from him that was valued at $400 by Rumbleseat guitar and another for $600 that was valued at $1200+ from Gruhn in Nashville, both are in great shape overall, so yeah. Let the buyer beware. I doubt either would sell for those prices in cash, who knows what market value is.

Not sure I understand that comment, but I certainly hope it's not an attempt to turn it into some type of racial or religious attack. I think the guy was referring to a "wrap around" like in an Emmons model and he failed to spell it correctly!

His buyers must be patient and kind as he has a 100% positive rating. I was surprised to see that.
