I'm planning on our next event to be the last Saturday in May 2010. Once I have everything confirmed and completed, I'll post the date and times(noon to midnight usually). Everything will be about the same except for some new singers/pickers and this show will begin our MSP yearly donation to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. 1.00 for each person in attendance plus donations from local businesses will be combined and a check sent to St. Jude the Monday after the Saturday show. More info coming as I get everything together. We're expecting another full house for show #3. Thanks.

May 29th, 2010 has been confirmed, as of today 2-13-10, as the offical date for the 3rd MSP Show. Location will at the American Legion in Laurel, Ms., located at 1108 No. 9th Ave. Hal, I hadn't talked with Doug about coming down. I'm operating with 50% of the budget I used on the first two shows, so I'll have to wait and see after everything is set up and paid for. Show time will be on Saturday the 29th from noon to midnight, non-stop music, except for awards that we'll be giving to some folks that night. I'll also have some new faces and a new segment for lead players featuring Bob Saxon, Wayne Gray, Wallace Baker and others. Our shows are good clean Classic Country with Western Swing mixed in. This is our first year to help the St. Judes organization also. I hope to make it a regular event with each show. I already send a check each month and with a generous donation from the MSP shows, maybe we can help some more of these children that need it so desperately. God bless.

New singer added this week for the May show. Ellis Simmons from Hattiesburg will be joining our show for the first time. We might also have Julie Musgrove's daughter, Shana on the show. Waiting on confirmation. Shana is 14 years old and is very talented. I hope we can add her on the performers list for her first MSP appearance also. She's a beauty, just like mom!

Hey Billy; This is the one I've been watching for. Time is just right too. I'm planning a two week trip to Ca. to visit with Norm Hamlet & Larry Petree& as many other pickers in Bakersfield as we can find. That'll be the first of May. Lord willing I'll be back just in time to rest up & make your show. Don't schedule me but if a slot opens I'll have a rig to play with. Smile I'll also have some picks. Very Happy Lookin' forward to it! Andy H.

Only 3 slots remaining open for the show. Once these remaining slots are filled then we'll start promoting the show locally to ensure another full house for May 29th.
