Does enyone know him or hes where abouts he played steel for Blueridge gospel band in the 70s

I would like to know as well. I met Larry in 1965 when he was playing with Jimmy Snyder, with Tony Booth on Bass. I thought he was a cool player.

He's doing well. He lives in Easley SC. Larry Orr along with my Dad, Bobby Boggs and Larry Nalley taught me how to play pedal steel.
I was fortunate to get to play with Mr Orr for about 4 hours a couple of months ago. He is still a amazing player on both necks. He was playing the white D10 Marlen that Mr Stadler built for him.
