It is with a heavy heart that I am posting the passing of my mother Lois Stonecipher, Mrs. William "Stoney" Stonecipher. At roughly 6:40 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, pneumonia claimed her life.
In late December, she entered Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center for successful hip replacement surgery. It was while she was recovering from that surgery that she contracted pneumonia. With the exception of one week in early January, her last days were spent in the hospital surrounded by loving family and friends.
We would greatly appreciate all of the prayers and thoughts that you can offer up on our behalf - especially dad. We take great comfort in the knowledge that mom is in a better place but that is tempered by our enormous sense of loss.
