The weekend of February 27-28 is shaping up to be a great one!! A potluck lunch is scheduled for that Saturday, Feb. 27 and I know I can count on all you friends of the OzSGA. You all did such a tip-top job at the Christmas Party. Thank you!! Thank you!!
We're just in the beginning stages of the planning, but so far I heard there will be a big pot of chili, a crock pot of sloppy joe meat, and a big tray of cold cuts. If you can help out, would you email me and let me know what you plan on bringing. We'll need things like, crock pots of soup or stew, crackers, chips, cokes, desserts or whatever you want to bring! The show starts at 10 a.m. We plan to eat around 1 p.m. My email address is: vhanley1@peoplepc.com and I really appreciate everyone helping! Remember that's the last weekend of this month at the Branson Community Center. I'll be looking for you!
Venda

Miss Eva & I will be coming in friday night and we'll be bringing all table service, plates, saucers, soup bowls, knives, forks, spoons, glasses, cups and napkins. We will also have a 3 gallon cooler in which we can keep unsweetened iced tea in over the week end , as needed, with a supply of sugar and sweetner. Venda is bringing her large coffe maker.
As we discussed , this is a somewhat differant "potluck" than at Christmas where there were lots of "covered dish" types of foods. This time we are hoping for a "soup, sandwich and dessert" type of potluck which is more efficient during a day of a heavy music schedule.
(Incidently for those traveling a distance or it's not convenient otherwise, don't worry about bringing food, there will be an abundance, trust me.)

I am in the process of mailing out 66 ground mailed annoncements of this event to past and present members for whom we do not have an email contact.

Venda has contacted the others via email--this is gonna be another fun event-- Very Happy

Venda & Jerry are working very hard, along with the other two officers, to make this event and this year a fun filled time. If you haven't already done so, contact Venda to get your new and colorful membership card for 2010. Dues are now payable the first of each year. She'll have a supply of cards on hand at the February event also. - Smile

I want to thank everyone that has responded and is planning on bringing food for the Saturday Potluck Lunch. And if you haven't written in and want to bring something, that would be great! Whatever you bring will be greatly appreciated! It's so much fun watching what's coming in and of course, I have to lift the lid and peek and my, oh my, the wonderful smells as we begin to set it out on the tables! Fun!! Fun!! I love all of you and thanks again for your willingness to help out!!
