You're correct Bill, he doesn't live IN Pittsfield but close enough by that it was a convenient analogy.

When you disclose ALL of the 25 famous contemporary players who play without picks as you so clearly stated I'll do the same with there name. Fair enough?

As to taking me seriously, why would I care....based on the postings to your threads no one has taken you seriously since the last century. Perhaps not even then.

Cheers Bill....don't you have snow to shovel? I am going diving tomorrow; the conditions in Monterey are a little choppy with a 4 foot swell, but vis looks to be about 25 feet in Carmel Bay and the outer pinnacles. That ole wolf eel who lives in a hole at Erics is very similar to you.....all fang and no bite. He's quite a bit friendlier though.

When it's big and it's green and you just want to scream
That's a moray
When it chomps on your toes or your fingers and nose
That's a moray

Barry,

You should hear that straight eight cylinder automobile purrrr... It's made from steel, copper, brass, and precision castings, unlike the plastic parts assembled today. Thanks for the picture display.

Bill, sarcasm is lost on you, isn't it?

He looks a bit like Statler or Waldorf from the Muppets!

You're right, Barry; I attempted a shot across his bows, but with no apparent success!

Barry,

Walk down any city street, when you see a gathering of loiterers. Move in closer to pick up their words. Their language will curl your hair. I'm not dismissing any of your palavering as just joking around. There should be penalties leveled against those cursing and using foul language in public places.

1932 Plymouth and Dodge cars had a choice of 4 engines, two 6 cylinders and two straight 8s.

The 8s had either 84 or 90 bhp that was dependent on the bore of the cylinder.

Roger,

I'm guessing that you've never opened the hood of an automobile. I base my suspicions on your reactions to seeing a bit of Americana. Golf balls and 3 irons are more your style of an afternoon in the sun. How do you cool off out there in a sand trap, when the temperature is in the 90's? I can see you out there now, whacking away in the sand trap with that silly little cap pulled down to your eyebrows.

Mitch you are correct....i was looking at the Dodge 1932 as Bill had mentioned and just cross assumed about the engine.

It appears that in 1930-1932 there were 3 I4 engines in the Plymouth.

Cameron,

Thanks! I'll check out the rhythm sound tracks that are scattered about. I have a good buddy an hour's drive away who has a pair of colt 45's in his collection of steel guitar tracks, CD's, lessons, etc. A former machinist, and steel guitarist, he loves country music.

Stu,

More than once, my friend. At Coco Island (about three hundred miles off the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica)hammerheads school by the hundreds at what is called a cleaning station. We just sat in the rocks at about 60 feet watching them swim by. It was more than little intimidating! Also managed to spend some time with white tips at a reef in Fiji.

I've had more frightening encounters with San Jose Sharks fans at the hockey rink.....lol

Come on Stu, give Bill some credit; this, while being sarcastic and angry, IS pretty good!

Really, no offense to Barry, I have no dog in the fight, but if folks can comment on the melee, I wanted in Very Happy

My nephew is an oceanographer. I'm quite sure he's been down to the Titanic. I'll check with my niece in the Cape Cod area.

Rick Abbott,

Is it not everyone's right to seek liberation from ignorance or illusion? It's a very difficult task when you find yourself opposing nonsensicalness.

Bill, I believe it's not simply a right, but an obligation. The fate of, at least civil society, and at most the human race demands it. Nonsense is usually perspective, and rarely will someone sense their own position with clarity.
