I thought it would be a fun topic. Just like cars or motorcycles, etc they all get you to the same place but I'm sure we all have favorites. Franklin is still my favorite

I'm partial to MSA's, especially the newer one's, but I do have a '75 D10 that plays and sounds very close to the new one's, but it weighs a whole lot more. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |

My favorite is definitely the new Rains. Plays as close to perfect as I've ever had for a guitar. The upgrade that was added to the Rains is the difference. Only thing better would be to have another one in a different color which I will later on. If I wasn't playing a Rains, I'd more than likely go with a GFI with 10-1's. Of course, I also like the G2's by Mullen. |

I'd rather have my Williams than a platinum-plated Cadillac! _________________ I give music lessons on several different instruments in Cambridge, NY (between Bennington, VT and Albany, NY).
