Johnny, is the song "Just Between You and Me" done in the same upbeat style you played at the Abilene jam? I love the old song both ways but the upbeat style knocked me out. I will get mine in Dallas. Doyle |

As far as I am concerned "LIFE AFTER NASHVILLE" should pertain to you and Joan moving to us to become a part of Texas.
Man, your life just started.

I've just listened to a copy I got in Dallas this last weekend. Johnny and Joan have a great project here! Their tone and playing are absolutely great. It's also a treat to hear Jr. Knight on guitar. The selection of material is what made us fall in love with the steel guitar to begin with. Any traditional country music fan will love this CD, not just the steel players.
I like so many here in Nashville were sorry to see Johnny and Joan move away. But I couldn't be happier for both of them, as I see them make their mark in Texas. They are right where they should be. But it is Nashville's loss. |
