I will be playing with Memphis singer, Don Johnson, Friday night, March 18th at the Civic Center. The headline group is the McGruders. This is a Southern Gospel concert.

| The first steel guitar I ever heard or saw in my life was in Monroe (my dad's hometown). I was probably 7 or 8 years old, and my Aunt told me, "Mr. So-and-so (I'll never remember his name) is playing his steel guitar. Go over there and listen!" From my faded memory, it seemed like it was an old Fender or Gibson. |
