I am a Telonics dealer, I love the FP-100. I think it's the best, and I'd love to sell you all one (at a great price), but for those who use a pot pedal as a backup:
I have obtained a small supply of rare, New Old Stock, Allen Bradley .5 meg pots. Made in Milwaukee Wisconsin USA. The ones I have installed in my gear have all been great. Smooth even taper, and no hot spots, no loss of highs. They sound and feel better than any other pot. These are not "just like the old ones", these are the old ones.
They have the Long (2") shaft, so most volume pedals will require the shaft to be cut. (Easy, with a hack saw or dremel cut off wheel if you are careful not to bang up the pot or contaminate it with cutting debris). When cutting: clamp the solid shaft only, go slow and easy.

As with any NOS, there may be an occasional one with some initial scratchiness, which should work out in a dozen or so rotations. (They are over 30 years old, but have been in a dry location and came in the original shrink wrap.) Of course I will replace a defective piece if one turns up, just return for a replacement.
