Here's a third option, a carrier for amp integration:

I see the build your own clone kit modifies the dwell itme by providing variable feedback to the fixed delay Belton module. I am tempted to build this into one of my old tube amps or perhaps my foot volume pedal.

I wonder what the possibilities of hooking it to the cables already there on a Twin would be or if there would be too much pre-amp signal. |

I spent a lot of time last night looking at reviews of this pedal, reading the BYOC forums and listening to sound samples. This pedal is priced very fairly and a lot of users love it.
What I am hearing though is a reverb that is more echoey and much coarser than my Boss RV-5 or Digi RV-7. I would compare the BYOC pedal to the Verbzilla in terms of type of reveration sounds. So you may be thrilled with it or you may hate it! Building a kit is awesome fun and you can always ebay it and not lose much if you decide it's not your cup of tea.
I might still decide to build one for fun but for now I like the RV-5, RV-7, Lexicon reverbs a lot better for their smooth plate and hall sounds.
