Marian was a sweetheart, and I love that photo of her and Skeets McDonald laughing at what must have been something that Joe Maphis said. Seriously, I can feel the love. Thanks for those great photos.

I like it when she chimes a chord, punches her volume pedal, adds some "body English", and looks over at the singer. I've seen her do that in a couple of clips. She knew exactly what she was going for... and she got it! Very enjoyable to watch and hear.

Noting the modesty panel, also useful for keeping drunks from falling onto the pedal rods.

I was looking at this thread and watched lots of great clips of Marian playing. I have become a fan! I found this clip just by accident just now of her backing up Ray Price on the Ranch Party show. I have watched a lot of television clips of Ray Price, but this is the first time I caught this one. Some great steel playing on this clip and she has her own interpretation of the song that differs from what Jimmy Day played on the original recording. Too bad the audio is so badly clipped, but still very cool.

P.S. the song begins at 1:00 in (Tex Ritter gives one of his typically long intros)
