That is to say, a Custom (trapezoid pickups) or a T-8 Stringmaster (dual pickups each neck)? Both existed in 1955 but by then would have different tuner pan assemblies. (Lollipop buttons for the Custom; concave Kluson buttons on a Stringmaster. Early--1953--Stringmasters briefly had the same tuner assemblies as the earlier trapezoid-pickup steels.)

Either way, rare, expensive and furiously contested-for.

I have a few sets with the lollipop tuners.... early.
I am not sure what a good asking price is but make me an offer.

Hello Todd, I was wondering if you still might have a Fender T8 lollipop tuner pan. I have a T8 Custom that has one heavily-worn spiral that tries to engage the gear connected to the string winding shaft, but sometimes it slips. It is the lowest string tuner on the 8 string pan.
Thanks,
Ron
