I was reading the thread about the person who was looking for the track to Way to Survive. I went on Youtube and listened, for the 1000th time to Adair's version. I also clicked on his humble tribute to John Hughey with Sweet Memories.
This song certainly bears listening to over and over again. It is absolutely one of the most touching tributes to one of our finest and most favorite steel players of all times.
Adair does a sensitive and outstanding job on this number. It leaves me choked up every time I go to play it. Please take the time to give it another listen.
Thanks, Adair.
