I have just gotten off the phone with Albert Talley from the Dallas show. I am having to cancel this year due to health problems. I had surgery on my left shoulder and recovery has been slow. I haven't been able to play sence Sept. It would be very difficult to get in shape to play after my treament is done. I'm not sure when I will be finished. Also I have developed blood clots in my lungs and have told by the doctor that I cannot travel for at least 6 mos. I hope everyone understands and is not upset with me or Albert. It's not his fault an it's out of my control. Larry

Larry, get yourself healed up my friend. I still owe you a guitar setup, tuning and whatever. Smile

Folks, the next week after I had my shoulder surgery I went to the Choo-Choo show as a spectator with my arm in a sling. I got to feeling pretty good after several pain pills and wanted to play. The only problem was not only did I not have a guitar, I couldn't carry it, or ever reach my arm out to tune it. Larry loaned me his guitar, set it up, and even tuned it for me. I though Jean Hughey was going to whip us both! Oh Well

We did have fun.

Larry, I am sure you will be missed in Dallas, but you need to take care of your self. Hope you and your arm get to feeling better.

Randy, If I remember right ( and with my memory I might be wrong ) you came to Indy for the Gospel Show, not long after you had shoulder surgery also. Jean should have given you a whooping!!!!!!!! LOL

Larry I hope your shoulder comes right soon mate, I have just recovered from the same thing myself, took about 18 months to get it right .... my son had to set my guitar up for me for a while which was nice Laughing

Mine was my left shoulder so it took a while before I could get down as far as the first fret !!!!

Will miss your great playing at Dallas this year mate, so take it easy and get your health right.

That's ok pal. I'm not going either.
Since you and I both just had surgery (you, shoulder and me, spine), both of our wives would leave us if we headed for Dallas.

I AM coming over there in the next couple of weeks. We can get well together better than separately.

Besides, since nether of us can pick up anything, we can watch SOAPS together.

Love ya man,
Bill
