When I first started playing E9th I wondered how so many experienced pickers got all those "C6th" sounds on E9th. I am talking about the classic C6th sounds of the 50's, 60's and 70"s.
Today's modern players have blurred lines of distinction between these two tunings, playing the same fast pick blocked riffs with ease on either tuning. I've started work on a course for playing C6 sounds on E9th. Suffice it to say that I will be using my own arbitrary definitions of what is a 10 string E9th pedal tuning and what is a "C6" sound.
Included in this tab are a few positions using:
o E to Eb Knee lever
o A/B Pedals Down
o 1/2 depress of the A pedal
o E to F knee lever
o A pedal
o 9th string D to C# knee lever
Hear It!
Tab in pdf format!
My web site featuring over 450 tabs and 132 songs for E9/C6 pedal steel, 12 string lap steel and 6 string lap steel!

Charles and Danny, your comments are always appreciated!
John, good thing my tabs don't have a lot of words in them or is the text getting translated also?

I checked out the link John, pretty neat!
Paul and Steve, I just about out of tab for a while. Got something like 5 or 6 left to post that are truly worthwhile and will put one of those out today. Thanks for using my stuff and taking the time to comment!
