I am posting this for a fellow Forum-ite, who is selling his gear to fund medical expenses.

This is a Sho-Bud Super Pro...an 8-1/2 out of 10, natural birdseye maple with aluminum necks. Serial #17528, reportedly a special order in February, 1982.

This guitar needs cleaning since it's been 'idle' for years. The end-plates need buffing as you can see in the pictures. There are some minimal bar dings between the necks, but they are hardly noticiable. But, look close...the guitar is solid, with very little wear. Case is like brand new.

The owner's phone number is 330-524-7805, if you have questions.

Asking $2,000, plus shipping.

just looks like the pedal rod is in the wrong hole ,,maybe all of them ...easy fix ...
there are alot of nice things about this guitar ,,
see the bottom of the guitar in front ,, about 1/2 inch of wood below the inlay ,,and the thickness of the end plate below the nylon tuning nuts ,,
this is like a deep dish ,,, nice thick look to it ... you put about $1,500 of your own labor in this steel, and you'll have a real gem ,,, nothin' a dismantle and a good buff job cant fix ...

this is one nice sho bud

I have added another picture of the undercarriage that I received from the owner. The Sho-Bud has 8 floor pedals and 6 knee levers. The owner believes it to be Emmons set-up. He bought this guitar just before his wife became critically ill. He has not played it himself, but needs to raise funds...so he's selling this super Super Pro.

It will need some TLC, but it's looks like a real nice Sho-Bud.

Call the owner with questions. 330-524-7805

Hi Everyone; My name is Reed, and I'm a new-comer to the Forum. Just joined a few days ago. I'm 59, and have been playing guitar for about 40 years. Nothing professional, just friends and family sort of thing. But I just recently got the bug for PSG, and am going to give it a shot. Wish I had started sooner, but, I've to take it as it comes.

So, I just confirmed with Frank, who is the seller of this Sho Bud, that I'm going to buy it, along with a Goodrich Volume Pedal that he has. I'll probably get an amp from him also.

So, I'll probably be asking for a lot of advice from you guys, over the next weeks, months, years, decades ??? I've learned a ton already, from reading different posts here, and I look forward to continuing the experience. Reed

The owner e-mailed me that Reed purchased the Super Pro. Good luck, Reed.

Thanks, Forumites, for all of your inquiries and comments.

Congrats Reed,
You will NOT be sorry you bought this guitar, I have 3 Super Pros of this era, they are FANTASTIC!!! If you ever sell it, I doubt if you will lose any $ on the deal.
Neil
