Can anyone tell me which C6 Cindy Cashdollar uses?
I used to have the swing course but can't remember
if it had E on G on top
My senior moments have turned into hours.
Thanks

Cindy uses a 'high' C6 (Hi-Lo): G E C A G E C A. She says to ignore the lower 2 strings (C A) for a 6 string.
This has the same intervals as 'standard' A6, but 3 half steps higher. A6 (Hi-Lo): E C# A F# E C# A F# |

I learned from that course too and I used (low to high) C E G A C E with no problems. I ignored the top and bottom strings on her 8 string tuning. |

I tried the C6 tuning with the high g note on the 1st string. I never got comfortable with the thin sound. I went back to the A6 tuning. It has a much fatter sound, but I sure do like Cindy's playing. She can "tear it up" _________________ "Shoot low boys, the're ridin' Shetlands" |
