You know I'm looking forward to it. Dec jam was one of the best times of my life, visiting and hearing all the great players there. Folks, if you can possibly make it, hope to see you there, maybe get to pick with you a little.

Bill, you can just put me wherever you need me, I'm not fussy. I'll bring my Zum and Les Paul, and I'll make sure to have an amp this time. Sorry to say my better half will not make it this time, she'll be working. She enjoyed it so much last time and got some nice pictures. See you there.

Things are shaping up again. Always pleased to have all this great support. Will be good to hear you again Howard, bring all your gear and be heard all afternoon. Hal, I will have my spare Evans amp for you to use with the keyboard. You are such a big boost to our organization-with your great voice and tremendous talents on steel and piano. And R.J. is our king-pin member. Hope he can arrange to have his daughter SERA back with us. David Easley will bring some of his picking friends and give us a great show. Todd, aka Tony the Tuba, stated he will be back also and we will incorporate his talents on bass and tuba all afternoon. Looking forward to hearing Brooks Hubbert also. This is one great guitar picker folks-hearing him makes it very worthwhile to drive from wherever it is you drive from to get here. Big Will Stewart will also be back. And all musicians's favorite, Ed Clark will be in house all afternoon to smooth out all the kinks with his big upright bass and soothing voice. And if we are all fortunate, SERA will please us all again- as will Jerry Jaye, the incomparable Mike Brewer and Gerald Ross. Can't leave out Ben O'Dell either as he makes it all work. Come on out and have and enjoyable afternoon of steel guitar music way down south.

Buck, forgive me for having keyboard fingers missplaced. They don't work like they used to.
Hi Ron, wish you could be here also. We could fill you up with good ole deep south gumbo. Nice to hear from you.
Talked with SERA last night. She has agreed to put on a program with her group of great players-David Easley and Brooks Hubbert and Todd-aka Tony the Tuba. SERA's singing and piano playing will just amaze everyone. (Just like the ability Joe Wright has) with the exception that SERA is beautiful to boot. (Again, just like Joe)..

So glad that Mr Grantham will be there. Any word if Peewee Whitewing will make it? Any one of these great players will make it worth the trip. And Sera is a fantastic singer and musician. Wish we could do this every week.

Hey Bill, SERA had a couple shows this week back to back. Sera flew out Monday to do a show in Indiana got back in Wenesday and flew out to Houston Thursday to perform there, Sera called and confirmed she will be at the Gulfport Show Saturday. She asks if she could have the 3:30 or 4:00 show due to having another show Saturday night. She is excited that you invited her again she is contacting the band members for saturday.

That is great news R.J. SERA in the house!!This is one talented lady folks. I hope we can team her band up with Buck Grantham, David Easley & Co and have some great Cajun music like never before heard anywhere on this planet. We will have some pictures to publish of this event come Sunday morning. Just like SERA's new project CD -"Open On Sunday". SERA's CD even has a video clip on the front end for a special treat for all. This is truly exciting folks, Do not miss this opportunity to see, meet and hear a wonderful talented young lady. Thanks for this oppoortunity SERA.

HEY !!!!!!!!!!

Ya'll ain't doin this without me !!!

No R.J., I don't make it tick, that is totally under the tender, lovin, direction of MR.SMOOTH !! And Boy,,,,, does he ever make it work !!!

I put a post in extended family I really need some help with. It explains what's been keeping me so busy, from jumping in the pile sooner.

Looking forward to seeing you all there and like I always say in closing, Please drive, walk, swim, fly, or crawl, safely on the way to the show. Bill has put together what promises to be the best.

I will be there for the show and Buck, if Bill keeps it up, we gonna have to wash his mouth out with about 4 fingers of J.D. in a water glass. That is just to chase down the steak for dinner of course.

Oh and I might better through this in to. Those that can remember, attach a chain to your wallet, and keep your eyes on Mike Hoover.

See Ya'll Saturday.,,,,,,,,Ben O'Dell

Many thanks to all for the help in making our steel guitar event here in Gulfport so successful. Buck Grantham, David Easley, Howard Tate, Joe Wright, Mike Brewer, Jim Morgan, R.J. Buras, Mike Hoover, David Smith, J.R. Jones, Al Murphy, Ed Clark, David Brown, to name just a few, gave us a day of great music and entertainment. SERA and her wonderful group of young musicians really brought down the house. That was a tough thing to do coming on stage right after Joe Wright. I was excited to see SERA's band members reaction to Joe Wright-they were amazed. (As we all are with Joe.) The music SERA and her group plays is the most up to date music of today-blues, R & R, etc. Joe was asked to sit in on stage with SERA and the fun began. We never know when SERA will be in town, and it is always a very big treat when she graciously shows up to give us her time and talents. Thanks so much to all for the music and entertainment given to us this past Saturday. Next session will be on April 2nd.
