On an old Magnatone!

If you find a resource, please let us know.
I think there is actually a minor market for perfect repros of vintage decals for various guitars.

Good luck!

There are a number of transfer processes around and if you got a picture of a good example then I would think that it would be possible to make a decal BUT the downside is that there would be those who would seek to to increase values by sticking decals on copies etc.

I've ordered decals from www.thedecalshop.co.uk they are done accurately and they seem to do whatever you need.

Be aware that many Magnatones never had any logo or decal, they went to jobbers and studios who put their own logos on or they were simply sold without. Probably half the Magnatones made never had any ID on them.

Interesting, never knew that. So a blonde wood Troubadour or G-65 that looks as though it never had a decal likely never did! I always assumed they had them but got rubbed off from polishing. Good to know.

The double 8 I had never had a logo either...no screw/nail holes for a badge, and never looked like a decal was ever on there.
