Pardon me for putting a Banjo up for sale in this forum, but I'm selling it to pay for my new Fessenden, so...plus, it does have a steel tone ring in it!

To summarize, it is only a few years old and has been WELL taken care of. Please check it out. If it doesn't sell on ebay, I'll list it here with pics. I'm asking only $1500 for a $2000+ banjo. However, you could sneak in between that and the reserve price and get it for less than that.

Although this is a stock photo, it pretty much looks identical to mine. I should add that I upgraded the tailpiece to a much heavier chrome-over-brass model that sweetens the tone noticeably.
