Hello Everyone,
I've made the move back to Nashville and will be offering one on one lessons for those who are interested.
I have an apartment for the student to stay in and I live right next door, for more info call me @ 517-812-2928(cell).
My mom is still in a home in MI but she is not aware of anyone or anything. It was the hardest thing I've ever done leaving home this time but she would not want me to sit around, waiting on the inevitable.
I will also be available for video instruction shoots in my video studio. We are currently using 5 cameras at a time.

I am glad you finally got settled in. We understand about your mother, as we went through exactly the same thing with my mother awhile back.
Congratulations on getting your school up and running. It will no doubt be successful, as you have lots of fans and followers out there in steel guitardom.

Good luck on your new venture Joe. Your approach to teaching will sell itself, I'm sure. Hope to see you in GR this spring. I'll still have further to drive than you.

I want to add my congratulations. I'm glad to see this come together as I know you have been planning for some time. You're mom is as proud of you today as when you played "Why Me Lord?" for her at Scotty's a few years ago.
If I ever get the steel out of the closet I'll look you up.

I just want to add that I have known Joe for quite sometime now and he is one of the finest steel guitarists in the business as well as one of the most knowledgeable, so this is an opportunity for anyone learning to play or for those who are already playing and want to improve your skills from a great player and teacher. I recommend this 100%.

hi Joe,
Congrats on your move to N'ville! I know it must be tough leaving your mom in Michigan and can relate to your situation. During the past year, my mom was unable to communicate or respond and we lost her last September.
I urge anyone who wants to learn steel guitar to contact Joe for instruction. His knowledge of the instrument and approaches to technique are awesome!

Joe, thanks for the update on your Mother. I often wondered about her, as I was at the NE Iowa show last year and was touched by the short testimony and trials your mom had been given and was enduring. It was obvious the amount of concern & care you've given her as a son. Your decision was a hard one, but given the circumstances the right one I feel.
Take care & good luck on your new endeavor & get settled in quick!
BTW-I've been enjoying the Cd's & tracks.
