I have been fighting with and cussing music stands as long as I have played steel guitar. I thought I had tried everything out there until I found Mr. Bradshaw's "Tab Rack". This thing clips securely on the front legs of your guitar without scratching it and spans the width of your guitar. It is very lightweight but very sturdy.
If you have not seen one I would encourage you to check them out at http://www.songwriter.com/bradshaw/tab_rack.php

I have no affiliation with Mr. Bradshaw, I just think we are missing out on a great product.
I will try to get some pictures posted.

Thank you Tom, for providing us with yet another quality product!

Best,
Justin

Mr. Bradshaw also makes one for the Sierra Session guitars (their legs are square and require a different bracket) which I have been using for over a year now. This is a really great thing to have since it goes on and off in seconds and holds a ridiculous amount of music and whatever else you need close like tuners, picks, bars, foot long sandwiches, etc. Great guy to deal with as well.
