I just finished a D-8 lap steel or console and would like for you to post your E-13th Tuning and string guages. I know you have done this before-probably several times-but I promise to get it down in my note book this time. Also waiting patiently for your C-6th lap steel song book.

Thanks in advance

Thanks, Norm. Here's the E13 I use:
Tab:

1  E   .014
2  C#  .017
3  B   .018 plain
4  G#  .024 wound
5  F#  .026
6  E   .030
7  D   .034
8  B   .036

As you probably know, there are several variations of E13 tuning. Some players like a high G# on top, especially for high, lonesome country sounds. Winking Of course, that means you have to give up something on the low end. I definitely wouldn't want to give up the F#, for the style I like to play.
