Thanks, Kenny and Del! I can't wait to check out the music on here. Yes...of course, I think Jamie IS a great steel player. We are on our way home from Brady, TX where I just recorded my 1st record with Heart of TX records and Jamie did the steel work for me. I'm sure it's too country for Nashville, but it's something I'm proud of...
Thanks,
Georgette |

Tracy Pitcox os the man. I'm so glad to see you hook up with him. I think it will be a good move for both of you. Looking forward to the new CD. I'm one of Heart Of Texas's best customers. That Jamie seems very dedicated to his playing and I'm sure the two of you will make great music together.

Welcome Georgette,
I also want to say how much I enjoy your music, dont
worry about fitting into the "Nashville Sound". There
is a whole wide world of music outside of Nashville.
Hope you enjoy the forum.

Big hearty welcome form the bayous of South Louisiana,Georgette. I love the song you did with your dad. It makes me think of a lot of my daughter. Everytime I hear it. I grew up listening to your dad, and he is one of my favorites. I am glad you like the steel guitar. It's my favorite instrument too. I hope the best to you in your career. And hope the best in life. Happy New Year to you and Jamie, Nancy and George.

Welcome Georgette...Two years ago at Fan Fair we had dinner together in the artists lounge,,, Well, to be honest, I was sitting next to you and wasn't really with you. I believe you had a couple of your fathers grandson's with you. Are they future singer's? Also, you left your notebook on the table. I never could find you to give it to you. Good luck in the future and I'm looking forward to your new cd. Dave A, Burley |

Welome to the Steel Guitar Forum, Georgette! I actually have a video where I'm playin' steel and singin' your father's song 'Bartender's Blues", which is one of my favorite songs. The steel guitar is my favorite instrument too-I started lovin' it when I was nine years old and started playin' when I was eighteen-been playin' for ten years now. You'll love it here!

Welcome Georgette to this family. This is one big family here. We have our differences like anyone else but we keep in bounds. You stated your new project was probably too country for Nashville and that is a shame. I wish you the best and hope you sell a million of them. |
