This just does not happen. Chris Lucker told me that Mike Cass was working on 1088D for him, I have 1089D and TC Furlong has 1090D.

Larry, I have 1051-D. What year is yours and what year do you think mine is? I've been told it's probably a 67. It's a black mica bolt-on. I also have 6497, black D-10, and have no idea what year it is.

Chris said these guitars were late '67 so my guess would be yours would be somewhere in '67 also. Check the Carter page or call Bobbie S

1088 is a cuttail also. There mustve been some miscommunication between you & Chris. However, I believe it may have been built on a wraparound body as it seems narrower front to back than say Buddy's guitar, The Blade. Also, it just looks slightly different than The Blade or other cuttail guitars Ive seen/owned; the necks and overall profile of the guitar remind me of a wraparound and it just has that "older" look.
#6497 would be an '80's model, I believe.
