This is an early Fender 400 with the polished silver frame and the Mary Kay Blonde finish. It is serial number 00282, so is it a 1958? Maybe 1959?
It originally had four pedals and short non-adjustable legs. It now has:
10 pedals -- original Fender stamped pedals and correct pedal rods cable harnesses.
2 knee levers -- a LL and a RR that are lowering and raising both Es (Ds as it is tuned D9).
Custom adjustable legs.
Modified pedal rack mount made from highly polished aluminum to allow the tenth pedal to fit on the rack. The original leg retainer is included.
Original Jazzmaster style pickup and original untouched electronics.
Original tone-a-licious solid nut and bridge. If you want rollers, I have some somewhere.
Original tuners and tuning pans i perfect working order.
Tweed case that works fine but and is not in danger of falling apart but does have a loose seam and is missing the tongue on one clasp.
Usual play and pick wear in the finish, nothing severer, but not mint at all. I would describe the finish as very good.
As you know, you don't have to ask what the current set up is because you can change it to whatever you want in minutes. My own setup changes often, but I have so many pedals I can actually try two different set ups at the same time!
You will not find another silver frame blonde this loaded unless you want the extra weight and size of a D-8 1000.
Price: $1,100 plus delivery.
I have extra fretboards and tuning pans and rollers and changers if you feel you need backup parts for this guitar.

This guitar has about as much as you can get on a Fender 400, and probably is the only early 400 with ten pedals as the pedal board leg clamp had to be replaced with a slimmer clamp to allow the tenth pedal to fit.
If I do not sell this, it will have to go into storage, which is something I don't want to do.
