That is a Magnatone, played by Tony Locke of this same forum if I'm not mistaken.

Of all the steels I've seen and played, that D8 Magnatone was made the nicest -- to me, the Cadillac of the twin steel (with the Bigsby as an exception). Beautiful two-tone wood, nice detail, heavy, and as shown by Tony, beautiful tone.

Hi Al,
Thanks for posting a link to that video. Incredible.

My antique eyeballs can't see which model is in that video. Is that the one that bears similarity to a stringmaster? Or is it the older 1-pickup model maybe with the handrest removed?
