I have a 1952 National Grand Console D-8 steel for trade. It's the one without the legs. It comes with a nice hardshell case. The case is for a Yamaha keyboard but it fits the steel perfectly. It's complete with the pickup covers and all. I've had the screw on cord connector replaced with a standard 1/4" phone jack but the screw plug is included in the case..........The tuner buttons have all been replaced with plastic ones from Stewart/McDonald as the original ones were all crumbled & broken when I got the steel. Both pickups and all controls work fine and are original. It's currently set up with new strings and tuned to an E13th on the outside and a B6th on the inside. The B6th neck has a C6th string set on it, just tuned down one fret.......

What I'd like to have in trade is an electric violin (or fiddle). Preferably a Barcus/Berry type which looks like a fiddle and not one of those solid body ones except I might consider a Fender solid body but I prefer a B/B & it must have a case and a good bow......A Rogue or similar fiddle won't be considered.......Thanks....JH in Va

Here's a shot of the guitar....JH

HAHAHA! Is that a walker you use as a stand? That's great! But, this steel is only 57 isn't a little young to need one? It must have had a hard time. But, it sure is a BEAUTY!

Maybe if you put a price on it you would raise enough to buy an electric fiddle and have some left over. Lots of people will be interested in your guitar but I doubt if any of them will have an electric fiddle. Very Happy

Alan is correct.
I'd be interested in knowing a set price.
(I have a nice non-electric viola that I could trade...) Very Happy

Don't need a viola. A set price? Hmmmmm! There's a music store here that has one for $500 so that'd be a good price plus shipping in the continental USA only..........JH in Va.
