Thes are really nice lightweight guitar for you guy's starting out. Sort of an intermediate guitar with alot of pro qualitys. I had one to travel with for about 2 1/2 years and it never let me down. Weight was well under the 50lb limit. _________________ Daniel J. Cormier

Received alot of email needing me to clarify my post.
This Cougar Sd-10 that Bill has is far and above better than any starter guitar. I didn't like the pickup ( Weak/Thin) and The legs which like GFI where aluminum with no clutches. Other than that this guitar has triple raise/double lower all pull chnager and mini grover style tuners. Thay are easy to change copedant and work on if you should every have to work on it at all. The one I had played smooth,Stayed in tune and sounded good after installing a True Tone TT-10 Wound to 19.5 kohm.George L E-66 or SS-10 would be a good match also.
It's worth more than the asking price in my book.
Hope this helps _________________ Daniel J. Cormier
