I have made a set of dies & making replacement covers. I have 20 chromed & ready to go. They are made from .040 copper, and chromed by a professional plating shop. The cost is $40 each + shipping. I plan to make 100 pcs. I hope this will dress up those naked Stringmasters. Thanks Leon Brannan

Hi all,

I have a set of Leon's Stringmaster Eight string covers on my D8. They are very nice, high quality parts. The die & trim work is dead on and the chrome plating looks very rich. A bargain at twice the price. Really.....Most likely the best repro sheet metal part I have ever seen.

Just my 2C,

RH

I think the Mk1 Stringmaster would need to have new bridges made to accommodate the cover plates..

Absolutely. Tuner pans are much more in demand than bridge covers. I would buy several immediately.
