Stroud Light....sounds like a beer. On the 7/8", I'd go standard.

I use a 15/16-- 12 string bar. Standard weight and I play a 10 string. I notice very little diff. in weight.

Karen, that really does dress them up. My birthday is in November, but I liked the way the Ruby looked, so I got that instead of Topaz! You wouldn't believe the number of people that ask me if it's a laser pointer.

wow cool. i may go with a different color as well. mine is garnet which i've never been crazy about. i like green and diamond (because of how it reflects light)

It's interesting to see the reasons for picking a birthstone in a BJS, other than the obvious...the player's birth month. Mine happens to be the ruby, which would've looked great, but I opted for my lovely wife's birthstone instead, August/peridot, because she puts up with this terrible steel habit of mine. Wink

I opted for a plain bar because I'm a cheapskate! Laughing That, and my tastes err towards the spartan anyway.

You'll LOVE that bar! Smile
