Hey ya'll, Donna Palousek here! Steve's son Clayton, found this youtube video last week and we thought we would share it with you. Steve said this was the encore at Billy Bob's somewhere 1997-1998. Check out the comments from moondancerecords, the guy who posted the video......

That was one great performance by the entire Band.
Steve Palousek is a "World Class" Player and this video certainly shows why. I have never seen a Pedal Steel Player (other than Buddy Emmons) stand up and play like he did!

Gary Stewart - One of the great ones that left us way too soon. I drive on the section of US-23 in KY that's named for him about once a month. I've got most all his records, mostly Weldon, and this live one with Steve.

Steve, if you're reading this, I regard your "Let the games Begin" CD as one of the top steel CD's I've ever owned. It's got top rotation on my car CD player and I can't believe the level of musicianship and production values that you have one it. Well deserving of E's liner notes. A fan for life,
John Lacey.

Thats a nice clip everyone sounded great.Gary was a one of a kind.I got to spend a lot of time with him here in Florida and I worked on some of his tunes over the years.I worked on the I,m a Texan cd at his house and I still have a demo tape of about 25 songs we worked on for that cd.One song we did that did not make the cd was an acoustic instrumental that came out pretty nice.I get the tape out every now and then and listen to it but I get sad about halfway through as there is a lot of talking in between songs.I may make copies of the tape someday.I miss Gary.

After watching that, the words,"you'll never amount to nothing" from my 10th grade economics teacher echo in my head like it was just yesterday.

A monster player of pedal steel, lead guitar and bass guitar. What a talent. Also Steve is a real mean recording engineer too.

I just saw Steve playing through the video lessons that I have ...
I thought I would die one day and not see him playing live with a band ....
I was really impressed.
Steve is one of my favorites....What a guy..!!!
