So how are they able to keep doing this? Do they just steal the pics and description off the forum? Doesn't ebay have any way to flag recurring scams like this?
I guess all of us had better be checking to see if our guitar pics are showing up over there. |

I reported this to Ebay this morning and they removed it
within 10 minutes after I notified them it was a scam.
I can't figure out how this stuff can even get posted.

Are you referring to the Promat for sale by "the dartt65"? If so it's still there. |

Hi Bob,
Not this one. The other looked exactly the same, but the starting
price was $77.00, but after reading the post, it said he wouldn't
except any bids on it. He would only sell with "BUY NOW" for $1700.00.
His feedback was "0" so I looked at his other items that were listed.
He had many pages of expensive equipment for sale, and every item listed
started at either $66 or $77 with no reserve, and the same ending times.
I don't remember the the sellers name, but the location was Trenton, N.J.
I just looked and it has not been relisted on Ebay, as yet anyway.
The one for sale by "the dartt65", looks OK and I think it's on the forum.

Doesn't this nick name sound familiar, fellas. Isn't he the guy who was removed from the forum for being involved in some questionable deals? I'm just saying... _________________ Clinesmith consoles D-8/6 5 pedal, D-8 3 pedal & A25 Frypan, Pettingill Teardrop, & P8 Deluxe. |
