Yesterday I received my Calton case for my beautiful Lap King Rodeo lap steel. The shell is Calton's large mandola case, with the interior fitted for the Lap King - it fits really nicely, and should do for most short scale (my Rodeo has 23" scale length) lap steels (it is much smaller than a Calton for a Weissenborn).

Great travel protection for a great guitar! Smile

Looks good - how much did it cost?

Prices vary depending on the exact measurements of the instrument - Calton's UK website is:

www.caltoncases.co.uk

They are not cheap, but it is a quality UK-made case. And the UK Calton cases are cheaper than those made under license in Canada - for once something that is cheaper in Europe! Wink
