Well the song is not really my cup of tea, but I am proud to say that Matt is my nephew (brother's son). (Matt had to change his last name for those producers)

Matt will debut on the Opry this Friday night.

Also will be touring with Kelly Pickler.

Matt is a great song writer who writes about his real life stories.

So I am proud.

Bill, will you be going up to be a part of the debut? I know you're proud of him from he times we've talked about him, and it's good to see him getting a running start on the Opry. Best of luck to him.

I wish I could be there, but it was too short a notice and all the family is here for Thanksgiving.

He just got the call (hmm, same as the title) on Monday of this week.
Here's a link to the new video that is now getting air play.

I'm reading this after the fact but it just so happened that I listened to the show last night. He sounded good but maybe a little shaky at first. Good to have someone from GA.
