Yeah, her partner could make it on his own nicely - he's a member of the Bush's Baked Bean family. |

Probably not enough steel players around to support two different bands, so they stay together so they can share one.

Bama, I know you'll see this. Don't miss the thread in Extended Family about the ball game in Dallas. I'm praying for my team to win. I'll let you know which one it is after the game is over. |

Rick,You should know I could'nt care LESS about foot ball games. Here where I live Auburn,Alabama, and Georgia football is MORE than a religion. The only way it effects me the nights these teams are playing the club I will be playing in will almost be empty. They are all home watching those damn games. The ones in the club get pissed off if you play to loud while they are watching the games on the clubs big screen. Believe it or not played a club last week and had to WAIT till the game was over before we could start. YOU BETCHA, DYK?BC. |
Yeah, I know. I'm just messing with you. I'm the same way. I can't think of anything more boring to do than watch a football game. It makes me like it even less because they put so much stock in it. It's the same way here in Knoxville. They'll sit outside in the cold, rain, snow, etc.... to watch a ball game. I suppose they are dedicated fans. I wouldn't sit out in the cold to watch even Brad Paisley or Darius Rucker. |

I wonder why Jennifer Nettles is not a single artist ? YOU BETCHA,DYK?BC. |
Because when they signed their deal there was a band. Over the years the other members have all been thinned out. Then last year the label, Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles had to pay off Kristen Hall(the last member of the group to be cast off)for use of the name. Hall came up with the name and had the trademark on it, so they paid her off (or are currently paying her off). I guess they figure that since they spent a couple of million getting the rights to use the name, then she is going to use it. At least until someone at the label tells her different. _________________ http://www.oldbluesound.com/about.htm

Same as Tim McGraw - somebody in the band has to wear the stupid hat.

I always wondered what Dunn needed with Brooks too? Exactly what did Brooks contribute? Well, he did wear a cowboy hat too.....

As far as Kristian Bush goes, she should dump him at the first opertune moment IMHO.........
As far as Kix Brooks goes, he DOES have some talent and is a pretty good song writer too. B&D had some hits which featured him on lead vocal, namely "Rock My World Little Country Girl", "You're Gonna Miss Me" which was the one with the nice harmonic intro. Also when asked to appear on the "Common Thread" Eagles tribute album, they did "Best of My Love" which featured Kix on the lead vocal also. So he does have some usable talent but I guess at some point they decided to go strictly with Ronnie as lead vocalist.........JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |

The sad thing to me is that Jennifer can sing really nice if she gets the chance to. Unfortunately most of her material is done in her way2twangy voice. I doubt that very many people would miss her partner if he were not in the act. I mean that in the best possible way, of course. |

Jennifer, Would fit well with Rascal Flatts.
Mr, Bush needs to go walk the street's of Wyoming and learn what a cowboy hat should look like.
