Larry's Country has become one of my favorite shows.
I was watching the episode with Larry Gatlin and could have sworn that our own Mikey Douchette was in the audience.
Mikey was that you or a look alike.

I also thought I saw him on the show with Bobby Bare, it sure looks a lot like Mike to me also.

Hey guys,

Yep, that was Mike. In fact, Larry G mentioned Mike's Dad on the show.

Mike, looks like you're all havin' a big time.

See ya soon,

Jim

I don't get to watch it much but have found it entertaining each time I've seen it. Enjoyed the one with Jim Ed a lot. Ray

Who is this Larry guy? I'd never heard of him until this show. I really enjoy the show and the stories from the country entertainers. This may be our last chance to hear these things straight from the horse's mouth. I look forward to seeing it when I can. Charlie Mccoy was especially good.

Yep, Nadine get's old pretty fast. I'd like to hear more music, but it's a refreshing break from the fluffed up, corny stuff on Crook and Chase.

Larry Black was a DJ for years and he produced the Country Home Video series. You see a lot of clip from the show in the TV. RFD runs a lot of commericals for the CFHV series. The show with Larry Galtin was the funniest thing I have seen in years. They had a great time and the relaxed format is great for this type of humor. PS the CFHV series Nashville has a about a 10 minute slot for Don Helms playing and Vince Gill sings with him. This was filmed shortly after John H had passed. It so good to see an Oklahoma boy that knows what it means to be humble.

I particularly enjoyed Jim Ed and Charlie McCoy.
It's always a treat watching and hearing Jimmy Capps, too. He's a real pro.
I agree, a little less of Nadine would be nice too.
BTW, speaking of Jim Ed, does anyone know what's up with his steeler, Daryl Hornburger (?)? I haven't seen or heard him in a while. I always enjoyed hearing him play on that Marrs.

It's a TV show on the RFD network. Smile Like Mel's Diner, on the Kiss My Grits show, whatever the name of that was.

Info like that is helpful for Event Announcements. Day and time would be helpful too.

Rick, do you know where the show originates from. I really don't know. I thought it was Nashville.

Yep, I assume it's Nashville. Most, if not all, of the people I've seen on there are Nashville people.

Everytime I've watched it's been about an experienced established country music icon. I hope they keep it that way. Smile
