The reason for the bottom rail, it has more lean back for the purpose of seeing the controls better. It adds stability. It takes about 3 hours to complete this stand. They should sell for about $70.00. the cost of materials and shipping, cost more than half the price. JUST A LABOUR OF LOVE.

I have a couple of these stands that I bought from Ernie over a year ago. They are great amp stands. They hold my Session 500 and Nashville 1000 amps with no problem at all. And amps don't get much heavier than that.

And this is a GREAT PRICE!!!

Bob look close and see the improvememts, there is a locking device now to hold it open, and velcro to hold it shut, not like the heavey metal ones that fell on Nan,s foot that caused me to make these to srart with.

They are guarenteed, if they brake at anytime , send $10.00 will ship you a new one no questions asked. no explanation needed, i trust you. I just sent one to a owner, it split after a year he did not want to post it on the forum, we made contact by email.
Lynn Owsly has been using one for about 4 years , just sent him one of the updated ones.
These are jig made, glued with Grade 2 heavy duty glue, pre drilled on a floor drill press to make sure they are straight and counter sunk, I use life time coated screw, #9 star bits, in a jig clamped down so they are straight, sanded all over on a belt sander, smoothe and sized.,Spray coated 3 coats of multi coated paint. Tested up to 200 lbs.

I got mine last week. I set it up and put my Jazz King on it and it's sturdy as a rock. Thanks Ernie.
