I've got some great kids music- much of which is great for adults as well but there is NO STEEL GUITAR on these CD's!!! Does anyone have any quality music geared for children that includes the instrument?
Thanks!

I don't know how many Kid's recordings have featured steel, but I can think of at least three I recorded on:
Lollipop Rock "What happens when kids sing their own songs to oldies tunes!" CD LPR3305
Ranger Bill "For the Kids"
And one by Jerry Z, which I can't find any ordering info on.
These are all a few years old and might be hard to find. |

Yes, Kurt Gallagher http://www.kurtgallagher.com/ has a few CDs which feature Bob Brozman. I have a few of them and the kids loved them.
Also, a few of Raffi's records were engineered by Daniel Lanois in his studio in Hamilton and he played on some, I just don't remember if there was any steel. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

Cable T.V.s "Sponge Bob Square Pants" show for kids has lots of non-pedal steel in the background music , mostly by Gary Brandin, that is very good !!! Maybe they have C.D.s for sale ??? Eddie "C" |
