Here's a clip from a recent fun, low-key gig. I had the honor of sharing the stage with Rick McCray, and Paul Glass.
I called Rick to ask him what to call this project, and he said I should just call it "Tony Locke with The Riff Riders." I said that if anyone should have their name headlined it should be him, as he has been at it just as long, or longer than i've been alive.
He seemed to not really care too much about that kind of stuff, I think he just likes to play.
I have a couple more clips or this night. One is "Night and Day" instrumental, the other is "Crazy Arms" featuring two original members of the legendary "Skyline Club" house band. Let me know if I should post them.
Thanks for watching,
Tony Locke

It was good hanging out with you yesterday. I enjoy the posts and can't always make it to the gigs. There are some pretty well known players in that video... yourself included!
See you on the strings,

Good stuff, Tony. I'll bet you can learn a lot off of those pickers. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

Yep, those two pickers are incredibly knowledgeable, and incredibly nice, and humble. Whenever I get a chance to play with folks that have more experience/knowledge than me, I take it because I always learn something...sometimes what NOT to do. Thanks for the interest in the other posts, I will try and get them up here in the next few days.
@Thomas Ludwig- "Low-Key," in the context I used it in would mean something like "relaxed," or "low-pressure." |
