Several years ago I worked with a singer from the Dallas area named George Kent. He worked the Big "D" Jamboree, Louisans Hayride and other shows. He recorded for the Maverick label out of Dallas. Any info please send. Thanks

| Buddie, I was looking for Geo last year and someone told me he was in the resturant business in Colorado.Maybe Denver I don't remember.If you find him I would like to get up with him also.We did some things together in Colorado Springs in the 60's.Fred |

Buddie the last time I saw George was in the 80's when I was with Faron Young. George had a club in Ft Collins Co at the time. I worked some with George in the mid 60's when I first came to Nashville, I believe I followed Greg Galbraith in the band when he went into the service.

Buddie,
I used to work with George Kent a lot in the early to mid sixties. I've known him since we were both boys from back in New Orleans. There is a George Kent there in Dallas, I don't know if it is the right one or not. The phone number is, 972-484-3659, if you call and it is the right one tell the rascal I said hello. Someone told me that he had moved back to Dallas from Co. I tried a search on him in Co, but came up empty handed. |
