Happy Birthday Leonard. I haven't seen you since you played with the Foxy Dudes at Craley Days many years ago. Do you still Have the Fender 400 that Bobby Campbell refinished for you in A Sunburst color? I delivered it to you from York Pa when I was taking lessons on my 6 string lap steel back in the 60's & your studio was in Hanover Pa. I now "play at" a ZB twin neck I bought from Zane Beck through Teddy Soleski back in 1968, & it still looks like new. Hope you have many more happy birthdays, one on your students, Harry Hatterer Jr, York Pa |

Well I hope somebody has submited the likely HUGE list of
LT's steeling accomplishmentsto the SGHOF board.
As if they don't know already... But it needs to be official too.
For his wonderful influence on others,
for decades longer than I have nbeen around....
This threads comments brings home his influence on so many.
His continuous supprt for the community and all steelers young or old.
His still traveling to play most ANYWHERE
all year long for steel shows, at his young age too!
I can NOT think of many, or is that any, who are more deserving.
It would be a great 80th birthday tribute.
To a great guy, who always has a nice word for everybody
and still plays as sweet as anybody you can name.
