Well, it's here again---- our annual "Christmas in Texas" show in Tyler.
ETSGA is proud to notify all of you that Randy Rinehard will be our featured artist and he will be bringing some top notch players to assist him. Mac McRea is one that I have been told of.

If you are close enough, we sure would invite you to attend this great show. You can read all about it at http://www.etsga.org/etsga2.htm

Hope to see you there.

We would like to see everyone come and enjoy this Christmas show. It's going to be better than good. I've already put in my order for Sissy's chocolate covered peanut butter balls. You combine that with Randy Rinehard and , well it just don't get no better. I want to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Charles Tilley for his efforts, support, and dedication that he puts forth in, not only being instrumental in helping organize the ETSGA, but making sure than the club grows and puts on a outstanding program every month. So Charles, from all the members of the ETSGA we thank you.
Ya'll come, and we will see you this coming Sunday at the Historical Society Building across from the Tyler Public Library. We will begin gathering at 12:00 noon and eat until about 1:30, at which time, let the music begin. Try and not miss this one. Plus, we would sure like to sample your favorite side dish. Thanks, W. J..

W. J., you have a very eloquent way with words. Thanks for your nice comments. I'm just doing what someone else would be doing if I was not.

Hang in there. See you at the party Sunday.

I have been in contact with the featured artists and both have confirmed being there Sunday.

Some of you may have heard Randy play before but even if you have, this will be a treat. You will hear Brooks Atwood sing with Randy and as the old saying goes----"YOU AIN'T HEARD NOTHIN' YET.

See 'ya Sunday the 19th. in Tyler

Mr. Tilley and Mr. Copeland, We are hoping you will have a great crowd tomorrow. I know you will have an excellent Christmas Show. We had a great time with you last month and we were trying to arrange our schedule so we could be there tomorrow, but to many things going on Sunday and will be unable to make it. I want to encourage anyone that lives anywhere near that area to attend the Sunday Christmas show. They will make you feel welcome and you will enjoy the fellowship as much as the music. Have a wonderful time and Merry Christmas to all our East Texas Friends.

This is just a note to thank those at the ETSGA club for a really fun Christmas party and lots of great music yesterday. Johnny and I had a great time. We got there a little late, but there was still lot of good food left. Thanks to Charles Tilley for giving me a set of picks so I could play a little. I'll hang onto them for the next time Thanks to Randy Reinhart for letting Johnny and I play his guitar..it sounded so good. The highlight of my day was to get to see and hear Billy Braddy play, and then to have him come up and play a song with me. Great band too.. Lots of nice folks there at that club. How do you become a member? Maybe someone could let us know.
Joan

Thanks for asking Joan. Just go to the etsga.org web site and print out a membership application. Our dues are $25.00 per year per family. We would be honored for you and Johnny to be a part of our family at ETSGA. And by the way, what a wonderful suprise, and pleasure for you and Johnny both to play for us at the Christmas party. We were so grateful to Randy Reinhart for coming all the way from SanAntonio just to play for us. And, what a player he is. Also, thanks to Billy Braddy for his talent and performance. A good time was had by all. Thanks, W.J.

I just have to put my 2 cents in here too.
I couldn't have enjoyed a show any better than this one. It was just like a JAMBOREE to have so many top-notch players to perform. Joan, you outdid all of them. It must have been the picks though. I never got anything like that out of them when I had them on. Guess I gave you the wrong ones--- should have kept them suckers. Maybe next time I see you, you will allow me to try them on and check out the results of being on such talented fingers. Johnny, you are one lucky dude.

All you players did a fantastic job and all our friends that came enjoyed every minute. We gotta do that again soon. It is certainly worth a repeat.

Could say a lot more but I guess that's enough. I would like to say thanks for the nice plaque presented to me by ETSGA. I still say that I was only doing what anyone else could have done. Thanks anyhow, I will hang that right above my steel guitar at home so I can always play for all my friends. YOU ARE A GREAT BUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Charles, W.J. and all the gang in east Teaxas. I had a blast on Sunday. What a pleasure to see and hear my old pal Randy. And it was an extra treat to see Billy Braddy. I know that some of you may not be familiar with Billy, well let me tell you, it's worth a trip to Texas just to hear him play. Thanks for letting Joan and I sit in on a couple. Merry Christmas.
