Been hearing forum member Chris Scruggs on XM outlaw country lately. Nice to finally hear him on the airwaves. He is a washed in the blood true country/rockabilly/swing musician and is one of the first people on the forum to help a steel brother out with tunings and gear problems. BTW, thanks Chris for giving me J. Bechtels E13/9 tuning. I am using it with great success. It is sort of a combo Wills/Hank tuning and I love it. Almost like having a triple. Also, I got to open for a great band from NY called the Wiyos, and they mentioned Billy Jack Wills a lot. Just got the CD's in the mail order. Billy Jack was really and outstanding completely overlooked talent. Teddy Weber the steel man for Wiyos was incredible. He asked for my front tuning(the Bechtel E13/9). What a great musician and person. I really got an education seeing him. I am only an intermediate steel player and never really get to see up close such talent. Thanks to everyone for the forum and dont forget to look for Chris Scruggs on XM. Thanks TC

I don't currently get XM but thanx for the info on Chris being heard there. He's my favorite younger steeler of the genre and deffinitely deserves the shout.
