Our band, Without Further Ado, will be at the Ice House Theater, corner of Webb & Waddell Sts. in downtown Selma, N. C. this Friday (Nov. 13). Showtime is 7:45. As usual, I will be playing every lick I know (6), trying to keep up. This is the most steel friendly atmosphere I know of, operated by forum member Bowie Martin. Every band that plays there is required to have a steel. They play steel CD's on the breaks and give away steel CD's as door prizes. How's that for supporting steel guitar? Oh yeah, Joe Wright will be there on Jan. 24! _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Fender Twin Tone Master, Session 400, Harlow Dobro, R.Q.Jones Dobro |

Hi Sam. It will be good to see you & Anna again. What do you think about this weather you've come South into? These are the worst rains we've had since hurricane Floyd! Glen, I have a couple of your licks to throw back at you. I've been paying attention! Always good to see our picking friends there. I understand Glen is bringing a crew!
Oh, besides the CD's, they give away a steak dinner for two as a door prize. _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Fender Twin Tone Master, Session 400, Harlow Dobro, R.Q.Jones Dobro |

Sure wish that I could be there, That Clyde knows how use his Bar & Picks along with his feet and legs, this sounds like a steel to me.
He can play Steel, great on Dobro, and no telling what else the talent he has.
If any of you haven't heard this guy you are in for a treat.

Bill, I saw your nice comments come up just as I was getting ready to leave for the gig. Thank you for the good words. We do feature several songs in the set list with dobro. I enjoy playing it with this band as I can just play into a mike without being overwhelmed by stage volume. _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Fender Twin Tone Master, Session 400, Harlow Dobro, R.Q.Jones Dobro |
